The sari-clad image of Vidya Balan has become quite boring for her, in order to break it; she is set for doing a very unique item number in one of the upcoming movies. The item number will be very different from the present ones and it will just have a hint of sensuousness.
Santosh Sivan, the director of ‘Ashoka’ is known for transforming one’s image to a more sensuous one. This time after experimenting with Kareena in ‘Ashoka’, he is all set to implement it on Vidya Balan.
Sivan’s next movie is ‘Urumi’ based around the killer of Vasco Da Gama, the lead actress (unrevealed) will play the role of a Portuguese princess and Vidya will make her appearance only in the item number.
Set in the 15th century saga, the item song will have a very different flavor and Vidya will perform Mohiniattam dance form. The only thing that will make it an tem song will be the sensuous dance in the song.
Sources reveal, “It won’t be a raunchy number but definitely a very sensuous one.”
The director was apparently very impressed with her Indian look in ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘Mere Dholna’ classic dance number in ‘Bhool Bhullaya’.
