Vidya Balan Says Insomnia Makes Losing Weight Difficult
Vidya Balan who invited many criticisms during Heyy Baby for being overweight, said that insomnia was one of the possible reasons for her weight.
Vidya who is the 'Sleep Awareness Month' brand ambassador said, “My weight had become a talking point, an issue people were writing about that time. It was affecting me. It was not like I am over-eating or not working out. But I was not losing weight and it was primarily because of sleep and also for a reason that I used to have long gaps in between meals."
She added that from the time she was a small girl she slept only for three or four hours and later it became a habit. However, when she tried to lose weight she found that even after working out and dieting she was not able to lose any weight. Then she realised that sleeping for at least seven or eight hours is very necessary.
