Talented actress Vidya Balan who has set a mark in Bollywood with her roles in Pareeneta and Paa will reprise the role of Uma Thurman in Sujoy Ghosh`s forthcoming flick.According to a source Sujoy’s film is a remake of Hollywood blockbuster ‘Kill Bill’.
An insider disclosed, “Sujoy`s film is inspired by `Kill Bill` which was a top revenge drama. Vidya`s role is similar to that of Uma Thurman`s in the original. Sujoy found Vidya apt to be cast in the role of a woman who gets betrayed by the people she trusts and how she settles scores with them.”
Vidya known to be good at sensitive acts will be seen doing some breath-taking stunts for the first time in the movie.
"Vidya hasn`t done any action film till date. Her role will have Vidya performing stunts and high action sequences and that`s what Vidya is all excited about. She is looking forward to working with a talented director like Sujoy,” the source added.
Well time will tell if action thriller is meant for the softy girl Vidya.
