Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje, who is currently in Delhi, may meet have a meeting with the senior BJP leader, M Venkaiah Naidu. This meeting with Naidu is aimed at ending the argument which rose in the party after she disagreed to put forward her resignation as the Leader of Opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly.

Raje will be meeting Naidu on Monday noon to discuss the issue and end the deadlock. Naidu was appointed as the party spokesperson by the party high command after it failed to make Raje resign from her post.

But sources who are close to BJP president Rajnath Singh have revealed that Vasundhara Raje may not meet Naidu until the deadlock is resolved.

She had been asked to step down from the post of the Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly after BJP could not win in Assembly as well as Lok Sabha elections.

But without paying heed to the words of the party, Raje had sent more than 50 of her MLAs to Delhi to demonstrate her strength in the central leadership. These MLAs also tried to meet senior leader LK Advani to seek his intervention but he snubbed them by refusing an audience.

Later on Raje smoothened and she was summoned to Delhi by Naidu on Aug 28. Affirming her loyalty to the BJP, Raje said she was a "disciplined soldier" of the party and its order was "supreme" to her.
