Son of Pilibhit MP, Maneka Gandhi, Varun Gandhi has been accused by local trader Bharatveer Gangwar. Gangwar even has filed an FIR, and has named Varun a prime accused. The issue has come into limelight for Virendra Mohan Singh, Congress candidate from Pilibhit has shown his interest in this entire episode and it could become a political issue.

 

However, according to BJP sources Gangwar misbehaved with Gandhi and ran away with his bag that contained Rs 10000. Also, the party has registered an FIR and has sited the same crime on part of Gangwar. The incidence according to some is an effort to malign this poet turned politician. However, BJP is trying to control the damage caused with this event.
