This year again, the US business magazine Forbes has come out with the Wives of Billionaires List, which features the names of two Indians - Usha Mittal and Tina Ambani. Both Usha Mittal and Tina Ambani, however, happen to be among those wives who have etched out their own identity. Usha Mittal is the wife of London-based steel baron Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, who is the fourth richest person in the world. Tina Ambani, on the other hand, is married to Anil Ambani who heads the Reliance Communications Company and is the world’s sixth richest person.

 

Before marriage to Anil Ambani, Tina was known as Tina Munim. She was then a famed actress of the Bollywood film industry. Referring to the likes of Tina Ambani, the Forbes article stated that being famous of your one accord is often a plus. As far as Usha Mittal is concerned, she worked in the steel business for 15 long years. The Forbes article underscored that she is also the namesake of the Usha Mittal Institute of Technology, a university that promotes the womens' education in India.
