Jamaican sprint star Usain Bolt emerged winner in the 200 metres at the World Athletics Final held in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Meanwhile American Carmelita Jeter set the record of 10.67 seconds in 100m. She defeated world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser of Jamaica.
World and Olympic treble champion Bolt finished his race in19.68 seconds claiming 200m victory. He defeated American Wallace Spearman who clocked 20.21 followed by Brendan Christian of Antigua who took 20.65 seconds to finish the race.
The 23-year old Bolt with his last season victory has complained of fatigue and has cancelled further appearances in Asia.
He said,"I wanted to run faster but I was really tired after the long season. No more races for me, it is time to rest.”
Bolt did not participate in Saturday's 100m which was won by Tyson Gay of the US in 9.88 seconds. Jamaica's Asafa Powell finished second with 9.90 seconds and Darvis Patton of the United States claimed the third spot completing in 10 seconds.
He won a world title treble in Berlin last month when he bettered his world records in the 100m and 200m.
Jeter, third in Berlin, meanwhile became the third fastest woman of all time in winning the 100m.
