The United States, while criticizing the suicide bombing on Iran on Sunday, mentioned that it is not involved in the attack.
 
According to the spokesperson of US State Department, Ian Kelly, “We condemn this act of terrorism and mourn the loss of innocent lives”.
 
"Reports of alleged US involvement are completely false," he added.
 
This statement came from the White House in after a suicide bomber blew himseld up at the Revolutionary Guard meeting which was held on Sunday in South Eastern Iran, which has claimed the lives of 42 people, including 7 top officials.
 
 Iran's parliament speaker had blamed the United States for being a part of the attack, whereas the Guards have put the blame on the Western powers of complicity.
 
The attack is the deadliest against the elite unit since a bombing in February 2007 in the same province killed 13 people.
