According to media reports, explosions and gun firing were heard from the UN guest house located in the central Kabul. The reports, available right now, fear five to be dead.
Reports suggest that 4 o 5 Taliban militants entered the guest house and started firing discriminately setting the UN building to fire.
Police jeeps with mounted machineguns and fire engines were seen racing through the streets of the capital soon after 7:00 am, according to an eye witness. Witnesses say that the firings stared around 6.30 am.
The guesthouse has been surrounded by Afghan police as well as international police troops from all sides.
No immediate verification was available from police.
