Ex- CM of Madhya Pradesh and Bharatiya Janshakti Party president Uma Bharti received head injuries during a public meeting at Raisen, MP. The dais she was expected to deliver her speech collapsed; however, the injury is not a major one and she is out of danger. Evidently, she has got a Z-Plus security, and this and similar incidents are not expected in such security.

 

Her nephew, Siddhartha, told media that they have to take her for a CT Scan as she has received an injury to her head. The accident happened when a number of party workers climbed up the dais, and in consequence of overweight the dais collapsed. However, it could not stop Uma to deliver her speech and she delivered one standing on a chair at the venue.

 

Uma Bharti on the incident said that her life is constantly in danger, and BJP is behind her life. However, BJP spokesman Uma Shankar Gupta denied the charge and said that the BJP does not believe in any such design and gimmicks; rather it wishes Uma Bharti a long life so that she continues to serve the nation as she is doing today.
