Dell has unveiled its latest ultra portable Vostro V13 notebook unlike the sibling set Dell Adamo XPS.
The new notebook weighs only 1.6kg and has a 0.65 inch thick profile. The ultraportable set sports an aluminium body with 13.3-inch LED backlight HD display. With the Dell notebook, the user can opt for either the latest Windows 7 or the Ubuntu Linux 9.04 OS.
The other features that the Dell Vostro V13 offers include a 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi connectivity and pre-installed Ant-virus software. The notebook is powered with a 6-cell lithium-ion battery to power the set for a maximum period. However, the company has not disclosed about the battery life of the set. The set can either be run with 1.2GHz Celeron processors or the Core 2 Duo processors. There is also option to enhance the storage capacity up to 500GB. For better graphics, the notebook is supported with Intel GMA 4500MHD.
Dell Vostro V13 notebook would be available at a price starting Rs. 28,500 in India. The notebooks are expected to hit the Indian markets next year.
