Canonical has officially released Ubuntu 10.04 for the users. This is one of the most popular operating systems in Linux environment.   
 
The new Ubuntu 10.04 came after a six-month development period and has arrived in Long-Term Support version too. Under the support vision, the users can update the software for a longer period of time, i.e. 3 years on desktops and 5 years on the servers as against 18 months period of free package updates.
 
The company has also assured of quality, stability and reliability through this OS.The Ubuntu 10.04 is packed with all those things rather than putting new inputs and is promised to help the user.
 
The OS looks fresh due to some impressive visual enhancements like an absolutely new theme,a set of colour frames such as black, orange and aubergine, changed notification panel and messaging indicator menu.  
 
The other features that come with the Ubuntu 10.04 include, a social networking integration tool called Gwibber, a video editing tool known as PiTiVi and an enhanced Ubuntu One Music Store. The OS has also faster boot speed that can help the user a lot.
