TVS Motor Co has seen its June sales of two-wheelers increasing 6% over that registered in the corresponding month last year.
In a statement, TVS said last month's two-wheeler sales totalled 115,448 units as against 109,082 units sold in June 2008.

But, this number is lower than its May sales, when it sold 118,574 units.
During the period under review, domestic sales totalled 105,361 units showing a 12% increase over the sales which happened in June 2008.
Last month the company had sold 25,945 scooters and 46,048 motorcycles when compared to 21,466 scooters and 51,409 motorcycles that have been sold respectively in the month of June 2008. Sales of mopeds have not been disclosed by TVS.
Exports have been affected with sales of 10,087 units of two-wheelers as against 15,010 units sold in the June 2008.
