TVS recently announced the launch of ‘Scooty Teenz Electric’, an eco-friendly scooter in Karnataka. The state of Karnataka and the surrounding region have been witnessing a tremendous rise in the use of two-wheeler vehicle by the women population. Mr. Srinivasan, General Manager (Sales) of TVS claimed that the new Scooty Teenz Electric has better features then the existing models and definitely has an edge in making riding simpler for girls.

 

The Scooty is available in three trendy colors of red, black and lilac, and is priced at Rs 34,000 on road. The GM, Mr. Srinivasan also remarked that TVS is looking for subsidies from the state to bring down the prices of the Scooty. The sale target set by TVS is around 40,000 to 50,000 units this year. The power packed Scooty has a 800 watt fitted battery and can be run at a speed of 40kmph. The new version is believed to be the best two-wheeler amidst the category of Scooty’s.
