The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) earlier a partner in UPA government has decided to part with ruling alliance and has joined hands with BSP. It is just one week now for vote of confidence for ruling UPA and arithmetic calculations are going against Congress party. Situational analysis reveals that even small parties are going to play important role in the event next week and every party and each Member of Parliament is crucial at this juncture for ruling party Congress. The situation has arisen after Left’s withdrawal of support to Congress.
TRS has decided to vote against the government. In identical move BSP too had decided not to support UPA. TRS chief K Chandrasekhar talking with a private TV news channel said that he had spoken to UP Chief Minister Mayawati and would work with her for a common strategy to topple the government. Further he added that his party is consulting with independent MPs to pursue them to vote against the government as well. While TRS and BSP have made clear their intentions and stands, JMM has not yet decided what it would do in the next week’s event.
