Transcend Information Inc has introduced a compact Flash Card (CF) 300X in the Indian market. It will serve to make photography a little easier. The read / write speed of this newly launched 300X 16GB Flash Card is up to 45MB per second, which is very good. The card operates on dual-channel Ultra DMA with highest speed of any CF.

The product also supports non-stop photography as well as constant video recording. The performance is made to enhance by the use of digital single lens reflex camera (DSLR). The Error Correction Code (ECC) provides for glitch free communication and also lessens the scope of data missing or data corruption. Further on, the ECC automatically detects errors during the transference of data and also corrects data that is corrupt.

The technical specifications of the data card comprises Hardware Error Correction Code, IDE PIO mode 6 and Ultra DMA mode 5, Low power consumption and high speed, Lifetime Warranty and so on. Transcend’s new 300X 16GB flash card will come in three capacities of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB and have been priced at Rs 4000, Rs 6000 and Rs 11000 respectively.
