Toyota is planning to launch small cars in India by 2010-11. It is also planning to make India the export hub of small cars. The most successful car of Toyota in India is the Innova. Toyota however said that its small car will have all the safety measures and will have the required brand value.

 

The car can be launched in 2010 -11. To develop India as the export hub of small cars Toyota is planning to double the investments. Union Commerce minister Kamal Nath after meeting with Mr Watanabe, President, Toyota Motor Corporation said that the company will decide its plans in the next two or three months.

 

Toyota feels that Indians have changed their choices in the last few years and people do not drive the same car for more than two years. They keep on changing it and it believes that the car will meet all the requirements of the people.
