Popular American singer and song writer, Tina Turner is coming out of her retirement for a concert tour once again. This eight-time Grammy award winner will reportedly kick it off at the Sprint Center in the Kansas City. Turner, who is 68 years old, voiced her plans during a recording of the hugely popular TV series "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in Las Vegas recently. The Oprah show will be telecast on 8 May.
Until the time Tina Turner retired in 2000, she was regarded as one of the most successful live performers in popular music since 1984 when she came out with her comeback album, ‘Private Dancer.’ The singer halted touring after her ‘Twenty Four Seven World Tour’ conducted in 2000. Quite recently she performed live with R&B singer, Beyonce at the 50th Grammy Awards.
