Golden Globe Award winner US director Tim Burton has started shooting of his film Alice in Wonderland. According to reports, the film is action version of Lewis Caroll's 'Alice in Wonderland' in Cornwall. Famous actors of British television show 'Little Britain' Matt Lucas and David Walliams have been selected for the roles of Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee respectively. Also, there would be a role from Burton's partner and actress Helena Bonham Carter in the movie.

 

Fifty year old, Timothy "Tim" William Burton is an Academy Award-nominated American film director, screenwriter and set designer. The USP of his films is the aura of his films which is quirky and often dark. The overpervassive gothic atmosphere in his films attracts viewers to theaters. Also, his characterization of the protagonists is typical; usually characters are misfits or outsiders, physically or emotionally different or scarred. The film expectedly will be released in the spring of 2010.
