Three New Windows Phone 7 Prototypes have been showcased at the ongoing MIX10 in Las Vegas. This seems to be a major factor to cheer after the disappointing news of HTC HD2 that cannot be updated with the Windows Phone 7.

According to the presenter,Joe Belfiore, the three new models at the MIX10 in Las Vegas include an Acer prototype, an LG device with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and a device that is like the Samsung ‘slate’.

According to reports, the Acer product has already been showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Samsung like device looks like a replica of the existing, S60 based Omnia HD.

Samsung has re-engineered its current S60 version 5 phones’ buttons to make them Windows Phone 7 ready. The Omnia HD is capable of running Microsoft's new OS. This Samsung set comes with 256MB of RAM, 8/16GB of memory and hardware acceleration support.
