The commandos fighting the terrorist at Taj Mahal Hotel have recovered a Mauritian identity card, credit and debit cards of banks and explosives from the terrorists, a senior marine commando said.

According to the commando, a bag filled with material was recovered from the hertiage building of the Taj after a tense gun-battle. They found a purse in the bag, in which there was a Mauritian government identity card, seven bank credit and debit cards of banks like HSBC, HDFC and ICICI and cash of Rs 6,840. All the articles have been handed over to the Mumbai police.
 
However, he refused to divulge details of the identity card and the bank documents found there. The bag also contained Chinese made grenades, seven ammunition magazines, 400 spare rounds of ammunition, seven credit cards of different banks and dry fruits as rations.

Meanwhile, a commando said that the team had to face a problem in dealing with the terrorists inside the hotel as they did not know much about the building and had to take the help of the hotel staff to operate there.
