‘Tere Bin Laden’ released on Friday and it grossed over 500 million in its opening week. Isn’t it a big deal for a low-budget film? Well, the Abhishek Sharma directed and Ali Zafar acted film is pulling some great business from the Bollywood industry. It is also giving a neck to neck competition to the recently released, ‘Lamhaa’ and ‘Udaan’.

The movie has been released on 344 screens till now and it is in the process of releasing in the US. Apart from enjoying the response from the Indian audiences, it is also highly appreciated from the audience of Australia and UAE.

Pooja Shetty and Aarti Shetty, the producers of the movie also say, “After all the hard work, it is truly rewarding to know that audiences are responding positively. We are also very grateful that our colleagues from the industry supported us after watching the film and helped spread the word.”

Box office and theatre reports are also in the favour of the movie. Amit Shah, chief manager (programming) of DLF DT cinemas adds, “Tere Bin Laden' is better of all three movies that released last Friday. Though 'Lamhaa' got more shows, 'Tere Bin Laden' has performed exceptionally well.”

It has had an average of 70 percent occupancy over the weekend compared to 60 and 40 percent acquired by 'Lamhaa' and 'Udaan' respectively. The collections are also matching in parallel for both 'Tere Bin Laden' and 'Lamhaa'.”
