Tech Mahindra, IT services arm of Mahindra & Mahindra, has won the IT implementation deal from Saudi Telecom. According to the reports from Economic Times, the deal is worth somewhere between $40 million and $50 million.
Economic Times have cited an unnamed person close to the development saying that the IT implementation contract, which has been won by Tech Mahindra, is a part of Saudi Telecom’s proposal for launching GSM services in Bahrain.
India-based Tech Mahindra focuses on outsourcing services to the telecom sector. It has grabbed several contracts in the recent past in emerging markets like India, Africa as well as the Middle East.
