Tech Mahindra Limited has declared that it has inked a multi-billion dollar worth deal with Telecom Fiji (TFL) in order to provide global ICT services to enterprise customers in Oceania market. A statement issued by the company informed that Tech Mahindra’s deal with TFL is a part of its plan to develop business in the A-PAC region.
Tech Mahindra is going to execute a transformation programme in the OSS and BSS telecom segment for a duration of 15 months under this agreement. The Tech Mahindra already has got operations on in Australia and New Zealand, which provides it revenues of around 50 per cent from the A-PAC region.
Taito Tabaleka, the CEO of TFL, remarked that it is the capabilities of Tech Mahindra which encouraged them to look at ways by which they can gain from one another’s strength. This, he said, could happen by collaborating as international service partners for providing ICT services within Oceania region to their enterprise customers. ‘We are very hopeful that this relationship will be further developed and can help us grow our service offerings and our reach in the global market, Mr Tabaleka said.
