Tata Steel has registered a net profit of Rs.902.94 crore for the second quarter of this fiscal which ended on Sep 30, which is 49.5% lower than the net profit registered during the corresponding period last fiscal.
Total income of the company has been reported to be Rs..5,692.11 crore for the second quarter, which is 16.45% lower than the Rs.6,813.45 crore total income it logged in the corresponding quarter last year.
Earnings per share stood at Rs.10.89 per share, down from Rs.24.03 per share in the year-ago period.
