Tata Motors, India’s automobile major, has reported a growth of 18% during July 2009 making the total sales to 48,054 vehicles against 40,729 units sold during July 2008.
According to Tata Motors, the domestic sales of both commercial and passenger vehicles has surged by 23% to 45,599 units against 37,033 units sold during July 2008.
But Tata's total sales including exports have decreased by a marginal 1% for 2008-09 to 171,168 units.
