Tata unveiled its most awaited launch, Magic Iris at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo. Magic Iris is a five-passenger conveyance that has a "sheet metal roof" and is designed to get people off of bikes and rickshaws.

Tata's official statement did not reveal the cost of the vehicle but of course stated that it should come under $2,000. The Indian automaker mentioned that the Magic Iris will be launched later this year, "offering safer and more comfortable mobility for those who depend on three-wheelers."

The Magic Iris contains a 611 cc diesel engine and a 2.6-gallon fuel tank. It has a top speed of about 34 miles per hour.
