Tata Chemicals Limited, a leading manufacturer of inorganic chemicals and fertilizers in India, has appointed a new MD designate. The world's second-largest soda ash producer appointed R Mukundan for the post. As per the statement released by the company on Friday, 28th November 2008, the new Managing Director designate will take over from Homi Khusrokhan, who retires in December. As of now, R Mukundan heads the global chemicals and consumer products business of Tata Chemicals.
