Tarang Software Technologies, one of the major e-payment solutions provider, has plans for intensifying its Indian operations for meeting the demands of its growing customers across vertical levels.

"We are setting up a 250-seater second development centre here to meet our growth requirements. Our new customer wins include Frese International, Global Refund, Hypercom, ING Vysya, Volvo and Teligence Communications," the company said in a statement.

Tarang, which re-initiated its recruitment, has added 100 employees to its operations in October, which includes 15 Spanish nationals for their Spain-based call centre.

Tarang, which is launching its second development centre in Bangalore, will provide centres of excellence for smart cards, contactless payments and a soft skills e-learning library so that the clients get an opportunity to strengthen the knowledge on the e-learning and business process outsourcing services.

The company's first development centre was set up in 2001.

"Our domain specialisation and strategic thrust into new markets helped us to acquire clients in Canada, Europe and India," Tarang chief executive V. Rama Kumar said.

Tarang Software recently launched its Mobile Wallet software, which is the accounts aggregation solution, Account Wallet, for mobile phones. The Way Finder, which provides online marketing research for products, has also been a success among FMCG.
