While Kajol remains the hot favorite of one and all even after a hiatus following her marriage and the birth of daughter Nysa, her kid sister Tanisha in comparison is still struggling to find a place in Bollywood and into the hearts of the audiences. She did appear in some highly publicized flicks like Neal ‘N’ Nikki and Sarkar Raj, but there too she has gone largely unnoticed. But what many do not know is that she has quite managed to create a foothold for herself as far as Telugu and Tamil films are concerned. As such, Tanisha will be seen in another regional film and that too with her mother Tanuja.

It is a Bengali flick that is tentatively titled Mukti and ones hears that Tanisha is very pepped up about this film project. ‘I am really looking forward for shooting to start in August. I am very excited about it and cannot wait to sink my teeth into it,’ Tanisha gushes. In Mukti, Tanisha plays a young girl who resides with Tanuja as a paying guest. Talking about working with her mother Tanuja, who is a veteran actress, for the very first time, Tanisha says, ‘I have seen my mother work with my sister in Bekhudi, and there was a comfort level that they shared. I feel the more you know the person you are acting with, the more you can get the subtle nuances out of the other person.’
