Tamil Nadu advanced into the finals of under-22 C K Nayudu Trophy with their draw against Karnataka. The hosts took an 89-run first innings lead over Karnataka in the semi-final clash which ended in a draw.
Tamil Nadu made a total score of 352 in 137.2 overs in their first innings and Karnataka replied with 263 all out in 111 overs. The hosts scored 270 in 97 overs in their second innings.
Opener L Suryapprakash contributed 60 runs and M Kaushik Gandhi made 30. Later, K Sriram top scored with 76 to put on 123 runs for the sixth wicket partnership with Garry Dumenil in 36.5 overs. Karnataka left arm spinner K P Appanna took 3 wickets giving 64 runs and spinner M R Darshan 3 for 53 runs.
