More than 43,000 people have been affected by the deadly H1N1 virus in Europe. This information has been confirmed by the European health officials.
745 new cases of swine flu infection have been reported on Wednesday from the European countries.
Of the new cases, 615 have been reported from Germany, 84 are from Sweden, 25 from Switzerland and the remaining cases have been confirmed from the other 8 European countries. This information was revealed by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in its latest report.
With this report, the total number of confirmed infected cases of swine flu, in the European Union (EU) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries has reached a whopping 43,990 Wednesday, the ECDC said.
The ECDC publishes a daily situation report about swine flu cases in the EU and EFTA countries based on official information from these countries.
