With 11 more people succumbing to the deadly H1N1 virus across India, the death toll due to swine flu has touched 156. Out of the 11, one was reported from Delhi whereas Karnataka and Maharashtra have reported five deaths each.
 
Delhi has reported the maximum number of cases with the toll touching 68. Karantaka stands second with 32 cases, followed by Maharashtra (26), Tamil Nadu (19) and Haryana (14). Samples of about 27,070 people have been tested for swine flu, out of which 5,611 have positive outcomes.
 
Delhi reported its fifth swine flu death when a 12-year-old girl undergoing treatment succumbed to the viral infection. The condition of a 35-year-old man has been described as critical.
