Yet another victory from Indian athletes and this time it was in the wrestling ring. Wrestler Sushil Kumar does India proud by winning a bronze medal in the men's 66kg freestyle wrestling by defeating Kazakh counterpart Leonid Spiridonov 3-1 in the 15th Asian Games. This accounts for India’s second victory after Abhinav Bindra bagging gold for himself. This is India’s time to feel the pride as it is the first season when India has managed to bag two individual medals.

Losing to Ukrainian Andriy Stadnik after being pegged down 3-8 on technical points and being in the repechage, Sushil Kumar has finally made it to the winner’s slot. Being in the repechage, he kept the spirit alive and sustained in the competition which has earned him a noteable name in the international forum.  Indians are super elated with the news and are basking in the glory of these winners.
