Sun TV Network has plans for rolling out a new game show for all it four southern entertainment channels after the weekend movie.
 
The show, based on international show Deal or No Deal, will be a one hour show from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p m on the weekends on Sun TV, Surya, Udaya and Gemini. The participants have chances for winning up to Rs.50 lakh whereas the viewers have opportunities for winning up to Rs.100,000 in every episode. The show willl go on for 26 weeks.
 
"The game show will be hosted by actors. Rishi will host in Sun TV while it will be Sai Kiran in Gemini and Udaya. Malayalam actor Mukesh will be the host in Surya," Sun TV vice-president L.V. Navaneenth told.
 
A fixed fee as well as royalty has been paid to the Netherlands-headquartered entertainment company Endemol, who owns the show.
 
"The programming cost will be borne by Sun TV Network," Navaneenth added.
 
Earlier, addressing the media here, Sun's chief operating officer Ajay Vidyasagar said: "We believe the time is right to launch large non-fiction shows on top of our already very strong fiction-based programming content."
 
The game involves 26 suitcases, each of which contains an unknown amount between Rs.1 and Rs.50 lakh.
