The company unveiled the new solution at its ongoing annual worldwide developer conference being held at Hyderabad. The new solution from Sun delivers rich content and services across the widest range of mobile devices. All the major mobile operators and device manufacturers of the world have supported the Java platform. Reports confirm that the mobile platform is available on 2.6 billion mobile phones all over the world.
With the help of JavaFX Mobile platform, the developers can easily extend their current Java ME mobile applications, games and solutions with expressive features and functionality. JavaFX offers high quality audio and video, rich text, vector graphics, animation and web services for mobile and desktop applications. Leading companies like Sony Ericsson, LG Electronics, Orange, Sprint, Cynergy and MobiTV have supported Sun's JavaFX mobile platform.
