Sun Microsystems India will organise its global annual developer conference in the city of Hyderabad from February 18-20. The three-day annul event of Sun Microsystems will have James Gosling, the father of Java programming language and Matt Thompson, senior director, cloud developer platform as the key-note speakers. The global conference at Hyderabad focuses on showcasing the technologies, services and products of Sun Microsystems.
The conference titled Sun Tech Days 2009 will showcase different technologies around social computing, cloud computing, OpenSolaris and Java, informed the senior manager of global developer relations and programmes of Sun Microsystems, Naveen Asrani. While addressing a press conference at Hyderabad, Asrani said that the visitors at the global event will be experiencing
technical content, practical information, examples of real world solutions, tips on application performance tuning, and hands-on training.
Sun Tech Days 2009 aims to promote innovation, collaboration and integration among the developer community to foster innovation. Naveen Asrani stated that India offers a fast-growing developer community for Sun Microsystems which influences the adoption of new technologies. According to him, India is the largest developer base for Sun Microsystems in the world. The proposed three-day conference will also provide several Indian developers with the latest and best technologies from Sun Microsystems.
This is the third time in a row that Sun Microsystems will be organising its global annual conference in Hyderabad. This year's event will have extended sessions on revolutionary Java technology and award-Winning NetBeans IDE, informed Asrani. During the conference, Sun executives will talk about the role developer communities around the world will play in the cloud ecosystem.
