Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg has been honoured by the Anti-Defamation League for his work in human rights.
 
The sixty two year old Oscar-winning filmmaker will be given away the America's Democratic Legacy Award during the league's annual Los Angeles fundraiser which is slated to take place on Dec 9, reports contactmusic.com.
 
Executives have hailed the "Schindler's List" maker as a "true champion of human rights" for the contribution she had made to the movies as well as television, in addition to his philanthropic endeavours.
 
‘American Idol’ runner-up Adam Lambert and Israeli singer Noa Dori have been roped in for giving out performances at the event.
