Starbucks is turning on free Wi-Fi, courtesy of its partners AT&T (NYSE:T). According to the new deal, the users will get two hours of free internet usage when they buy a $5 reloadable Starbucks Card and register for the Starbucks Rewards Card program. Two hours of internet if not sufficient for complete office work is definitely going to helpful for small internet related works.
The international coffee house chain entered into a relation with AT&T in February. Most of the stores already provide free electricity for customers and many stores had started providing wireless internet access from earlier this year.
In the American stores, the internet services is provided by AT&T, in New Zealand outlets by Telecom NZ, in the UK by T-Mobile and in Canada by stores by Bell Mobility. Starbucks, the largest coffeehouse company in the world keeps on devising new schemes to maintain its popularity.
