The very popular comedy serial on Star Plus ‘Khichadi’ will be released by Fox Star Studios as a movie on October 1. Audiences are sure to welcome their popular family serial as a movie and it will once again tickle them with its classy wit and humor.
Hollywood television serials like Mr. Bean, Batman, Mission Impossible, Star Wars and Sex And The City are already made into movies, whole heartedly accepted by the audiences all around the world. Now, even the Bollywood film-makers are following the same concept to entertain the Indian audiences.
The new film is directed by Aatish Kapadia and produced by Hats Off Productions.

In the movie humor is the basic ingredient, but it is increased to a higher degree of extremely hilarious situations through a series of ridiculous events and happenings.
Producer J.D Majethia adds, “The TV serial changed the grammar of comedy when it came on television and viewers got addicted to the humor. We are sure that Khichadi - The Movie will create the same magic on the big screen and hopefully redefine comedy in Indian Cinema.”
The movie will hit the big screen on October 1 and it takes off from the popular sitcom that made characters like Hansa, Praful, Babuji, Himanshu and Jayshree (household names).
