There are no two views to the fact that Kamal Hassan is a multi-talented actor in the Indian film industry. But it remains to be seen how his daughter Sruthi Hassan turns out to be when she soon debuts in the Soham Shah directed Hindi film Luck. The pretty damsel will be seen starring opposite Aamir Khan’s cousin Imran Khan in ‘Luck’. The film also has veteran actors Sanjay Dutt and Mithun Chakraborthy in it.

 

Now that it has been officially declared that Sruthi Hassan will be making her debut through Luck, it becomes apparent why she backed out of a Nishikanth Kamat-directed Tamil film starring Madhavan. The director of Luck, Soham Shah said that he found Sruthi Hassan perfect for the character she will be playing in his film. ‘We required a girl who would look innocent as well as convincing while doing the action sequences,’ said Shah adding that Kamal Hassan’s daughter perfectly fitted the bill.

 

Sruthi Hassan met Soham Shah in Chennai and liked the script instantly. But she said she needed approval from dad first. The shooting for Luck will start in South Africa from July 8 onwards, where the movie will get completed in one single schedule. Action director Allan Amin will help Sruthi get into the skin of the character that she is playing. Dhillin Mehta of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision is producing the film, Luck.
