Superstar Shah Rukh Khan may don the role of Leonardo DiCaprio in the desi remake of ‘The Departed’. Ace filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj has come up with idea and he plans to star cast SRK in that role.

 

SRK and Vishal have been in continuous discussions for working together, but the director didn’t want the outcome to be ordinary, so he wants to remake the super-hit Hollywood flick.

 

The two have finalized on a deal to make the official remake of Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Departed’ with SRK in Leonardo’s role and the actor for Matt Damon has to be decided yet.

 

Vishal is trying his best to get the international remake rights of the film and if he gets it the movie would be on floors by the end of the next year, as both the celebrities are busy in their respective projects.

 

SRK is busy in ‘Ra.One’ and ‘Don 2’ and Vishal is busy in Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’, so the project may start by the end of the next year.
