Shah Rukh is the ultimate king of Bollywood, big time distributors like Reliance Big Pictures are still ready to buy SRK’s ‘Don 2’ with a sum more than that offered for ’Kites’.
The latest hum of the Bollywood industry is that a whooping amount of Rs 300 crore can be generated alone from SRK’s movies. Since big budget films like ‘Kites’ and ‘Raavan’ have failed at the box office, so the entertainment industry and distributors are focusing on SRK’s movies.
It is heard that Reliance Big Pictures has bought the rights of SRK’s Don 2 from Excel Entertainment for a big amount of Rs 125 crore, the must know part is that the amount is higher than what was offered for ‘Kites’. The amount is higher by 25 crore.
Shah Rukh is presently shooting for his superhero movie ‘Ra.One’ and it is heard that Eros International has offered Rs 175 crore for the movie rights.
A source reveals, “Shah Rukh rocks. He is still one of the top three stars in this country. His film guarantees good returns. Yes, Reliance Big Pictures has bought Don 2 for an amount which is definitely more than Rs 100 crore. But I think that Shah Rukh’s deal with Eros International on Ra.One could be a funding proposal, which implies that Shah Rukh can still sell the film to other buyers.”
So, King Khan is alone able to hold a whooping amount of Rs 300 crore in the industry, which is a huge amount for this movie and the related market image of the actor.
