Spice Digital CEO Vinish Kathuria signed the MoU with .K. Tiwari, who leads the e-governance project for Zoom Developers at the India International Trade Fair, which is taking place in New Delhi on Sunday.

Spice Televentures chairman Dilip Modi said Spice Digital would provide VAS through 600 common service centres to the people of Hamirpur, Una, Chamba and Kangra districts, with the establishment of 400-plus centres.

"On an average, one common service centre will be set up for six villages which will be run by locals, who will be trained by Zoom Developers," the spokesperson said.

The services would be available to registered customers only.
"Information relating to agriculture, horticulture, weather report and government schemes would also be provided to the residents on their mobile phones," said the spokesperson.
