High on the success of 'Hello', Sharman Joshi will be seen in a romantic flick 'Sorry Bhai'. The movie also stars Sanjay Suri, Shabana Azmi, Chitrangda Singh and Boman Irani. It has been scheduled for released on 28th November 2008, under the banner 'Anticlock Films' and 'Puja Films'. It has been directed by Onir, who has also acted as the producer, along with Vashu Bhagnani and Mumbai Mantra. 'Sorry Bhai' has Sharman Joshi as one of the main protagonists - Siddharth Mathur, with Harsh (Sajay Suri) as his elder brother.
Siddharth is a young scientist, shy by nature, whose brother is getting married in Mauritius. He travels to Mauritius, for the wedding ceremony, along with his mother - Gayatri (Shabana Azmi) and father - Navin (Boman Irani). Gayatri is going unwillingly, since she is cross with Harsh for deciding to get married without consulting his parents. Navin, on the other hand, is a happy-go-lucky guy, whose only source of entertainment is pulling Gayatri's leg.
Harsh is a typical workaholic, who has little time for his family. His fiancée Aaliyah (Chitrangda Singh) is the one who ends up taking the entire family on sightseeing tours of Mauritius, before the wedding. Since Gayatri is not too happy with the wedding, she takes an instant dislike to Aaliyah. This results in Siddharth being the only one who spends time with Aaliyah, who is also very much neglected by the career-obsessed Harsh.
As Siddharth and Aaliyah spend time together, they realize that they have common interests and slowly, they start developing feelings for each other. The more they try to control their feeling, for the obvious reasons, the more they feel drawn towards each other. Soon, Gayatri becomes suspicious of Siddharth and Aaliyah and all hell breaks loose in the family. Will Siddharth and Aaliyah be united? What will happen to Harsh? Will Gayatri accept Aaliyah?
