It seems that Sony is all geared to prevent the unauthorized access of its PlayStation gaming consoles. Sony will fight hacking of its PlayStation 3 gaming consoles with its various new plans, according to the company’s official blog. The company is also set to ban the hacked consoles from its network.
 
Accordingly, the company will identify the hacked gaming consoles with the help of technology and ban them from PSN network.
 
“By identifying hacked consoles and disconnecting them from the PSN network we are protecting our business and ensuring our customers that they continue to receive the game experience they expect and deserve,” a the company blog says.
 
Besides these cautious approaches, the company is also reported to add some unique serial numbers to enter and play games lawfully. Without these numbers, the games cannot be accessed.
 
PlayStation, for Sony, is an important and successful product in the gaming industry and so far about 47.9 million consoles have been sold.
