Japanese electronics giant Sony has come up with ‘Vaio L Touch HD PC/TV’ a touchscreen all-in-one desktop. The system includes a PC, high-definition TV, and digital video recorder in one unit.
Vaio L has a 24-inch high-definition touchscreen with a rewritable Blu-ray disc drive. The PC/TV runs on Intel Core 2 quad-core processor, and an Nvidia GeForce series graphics processor.
A built-in TV tuner enables connection to a cable TV service. It also features an over-the-air antenna and an HDMI input for connecting to a cable box, satellite receiver, or PlayStation 3 video-game.
The system also holds a built-in digital video recorder, has up to a terabyte of storage and is capable of storing up to 100 hours of HD television. It also features a built-in Wi-Fi. The desktop uses Windows 7.
The Vaio PC/TV with an October 22 release date is expected to hit the retail stores by next month.
