Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of five new handsets including the Xperia X10, the X10 Mini, the X10 Mini Pro, the Vivaz and Vivaz Pro.

Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of five new handsets including the Xperia X10, the X10 Mini, the X10 Mini Pro, the Vivaz and Vivaz Pro. This seems to be a step by the compay to strategically position it in the quite competitive mobile market.
 
The other competitors in this Android market include Nokia N97, Samsung Omnia HD, HTC HD2, the HTC Hero and the various BlackBerry devices.
 
According to the company, all these five high-end models would come up with price brand of Rs. 25,695 to Rs. 35,795.
 
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has a nice 8MP camera with video recording capability. The Vivaz pro is also a nice set but with a slide out keyboard.
 
The company has also tied up with entities like MTV India, UTV, Shemaroo, Electronics Art, Indiagames and Disney to deliver entertainment content.
 
However, some of the details of the other Sony Ericsson phones are still under wraps.
