The gaming cum smartphone Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY hits stores from this April. The device is now available in the UK, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Russia and Taiwan markets.
 
The Xperia PLAY comes with over 60 games from Sony Computer Entertainment, Gameloft, Electronic Arts and Glu Mobile. Sony is offering a range of original PlayStation games for select markets at launch. The games including PS One classic Crash Bandicoot and other 5 PlayStation original games available from the PlayStation Pocket application.
 
The games are now available for downloading from ‘Xperia PLAY launcher’ application. The application gets activated by just by sliding the gamepad. The application also recommends games and helps users in searching for top titles.
 
In addition, there are also few ‘top-selling racing games’ that are available for free exclusively for Xperia PLAY smartphone users.
 
The first-of-its-kind device, Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, is a slider phone equipped with PlayStation gaming features in it. The company is planning to launch the smartphone in 6 more markets in the next 2 weeks.
