According to reports, Sony Ericsson’s brand-new handset ‘Kurara’ will be officially called the Vivaz.

It is expected to be in same design language as that of the Android-based Xperia X10, with smooth lines and rounded edges. This unit will feature the same Symbian S60 theme along with some minor tweaks. Apart from that the phone will be associated with the features including a WVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, and TV-Out.

The other features that will be associated with the Vivaz include a 8.1MP camera with a 720p resolution, image stabilization, smile recognition, continuous auto-focusing, and geotagging.  There is also opportunity for uploading the photos directly to YouTube and Picassa. But, the most enticing feature would be the HD video recording capability with this set.

This Sony Ericsson set is also available in four eye-catching colours like Silver Moon, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue, and Venus Ruby. And, the set is slated for a Q1 release. Though, the pricing details are yet to be disclosed.
